Hello. I just want to upload photos of our trip to Ilocos Norte and Sur last February 2013. Me and my husband had fun on this trip.
It was so windy during this time of the year. We were advised by our tour guide that the best time to visit Ilocos is in July or August.
From Manila, we took the Florida sleeper bus. By the way, don’t bother riding the sleeper bus. You won’t be able to get some sleep as it wasn’t comfortable. I only insisted my husband to ride this thinking we would be able to rest for a 10 hours travel time.
There were bunk beds in the bus instead of seats and you have to use your seat belt while lying down. Not so comfortable at all.
We traveled for 10 hours from Manila to Ilocos Norte. When we arrived, we were picked up by a car which my husband has contacted to tour us in Ilocos Norte and Sur.
We paid P7000 for our 2 days tour. At first I thought it was expensive but then the tour included a tour or Pagudpud beach, the Windmills, the waterfalls prior to reaching the beach, Laoag City to the Southern part which included Vigan, Baluarte zoo.
Our tourguide also had us taste the authentic Ilocano empanada. The best I’ve ever tasted. It was just a sidewalk stall.
We went back to Manila and we took the Partas aircon bus. It was very comfortable that my and my husband was able to sleep the whole trip and woke up when we were about to get off at GMA, Kamuning.
Here are the photos of our tour.
